Technician
Summary
CTC Group is seeking Technicians, levels 1-2, to construct, assemble, fabricate, and test electrical, electronic, and mechanical prototype, product, units, and systems.
Locations: Annapolis Junction / Ft. Meade
Responsibilities
- Fabricate cables and harnesses
- Perform continuity tests on equipment
- Rework modules, chassis, and systems
- Conduct equipment tests and document tests results in accordance with an approved test plan
- Prepare parts lists
- Document and provide rework information (“red-line changes”) in order to have related equipment documentation updated and maintained
- Assemble and wire modules, chassis, and systems
- Prepare equipment (“button up”) for use in the field
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
- Must possess a high school diploma.
Level 1 Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in construction, assembly, fabrication and test of electrical, electronic
and mechanical prototypes and products is required. - An applicant with at least one (1) year completed pursuing a Tech School degree in a related technical discipline and with one (1) year of experience in construction, assembly, fabrication and test of electrical, electronic and mechanical prototypes and product may be substituted.
Level 2 Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience in construction, assembly, fabrication and test of electrical, electronic
and mechanical prototypes and products with appropriate certifications is required. - An applicant with a Tech School degree in a related technical discipline could substitute the degree for two (2) years of the required experience.
Pay Information
The final salary may be influenced by various factors, such as location, labor categories, experience, education, and/or certifications. CTC also provides a variety of benefits as well as opportunities for continuous education and development.
The estimated salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000.
