Summary

CTC Group is seeking a Cloud System Integrator to support cloud infrastructure modernization, migration, and operational sustainment for mission-critical systems. This role designs, implements, and maintains secure, scalable cloud environments while supporting Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, cost optimization, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Locations: Annapolis Junction / Ft. Meade

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting modernization, migration, roadmaps, and operational cloud environments.
  • Ensure cloud systems are designed, maintained, and governed according to best practices, security standards, and organizational requirements.
  • Build reusable Infrastructure as Code modules using tools such as Helm Charts, Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and related technologies.
  • Establish and enforce development standards for creating, maintaining, and improving Infrastructure as Code.
  • Continuously monitor infrastructure and system health using logging, alerting, and performance monitoring tools.
  • Identify infrastructure issues and implement solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, scalability, and operational performance.
  • Develop strategies for failure recovery, backup, high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud service resiliency.
  • Support cost optimization initiatives, including tagging, budgets, rightsizing, autoscaling, usage analysis, and cost reporting.
  • Contribute to cloud architectures, runbooks, operational procedures, performance metrics, and knowledge transfer for internal teams.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend enhancements to improve existing systems and capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven progressive responsibility and experience with provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure and services, including compute, storage, networking, and IAM.
  • Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud architectures.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or similar technologies.
  • Knowledge of container and platform workloads, including Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, or GKE.
  • Experience configuring monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar platforms.
  • Experience responding to incidents and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure issues across networking, security, service limits, DNS, routing, and VPN environments.
  • Experience implementing and testing backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.
  • Experience managing secrets and key management using tools such as KMS, KeyVault, Secret Manager, certificates, and rotation policies.
  • Experience optimizing cloud cost and performance through tagging, budgets, rightsizing, autoscaling, and usage or cost reporting.
  • Experience documenting architectures, runbooks, and operational procedures.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems.

Level 2 Requirements

  • Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.



Pay Information
The final salary may be influenced by various factors, such as location, labor categories, experience, education, and/or certifications. CTC also provides a variety of benefits as well as opportunities for continuous education and development. 
The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 - $165,000.
